2000 - The Beginning

Founded by Mr. Rajesh A.S., Sreepadma Aqua Flora began as a backyard hobby fueled by a passion for aquatic plants. What started small quickly grew as his commitment to quality and care began to attract attention from the local aquascaping community.

2005–2006 – Expansion to Farmland

As demand increased, we moved our cultivation to a 7.5-acre farmland, enabling us to scale operations and diversify our plant varieties. This marked the transition from a local endeavor to a professionally managed aquatic plant farm.

2009 – Going Global

We entered the international market by exporting our plants to Japan, a country known for its high standards in aquascaping. With success in Japan, our reach soon expanded to Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia, serving hobbyists and retailers around the world.

2021 – Launch of Tissue Culture Lab

To meet growing global demand for consistent, disease-free aquatic plants, we established a state-of-the-art tissue culture laboratory. This milestone represented our shift into modern biotech farming, enabling us to deliver premium lab-grown plants with enhanced adaptability and health.

2022 – Lab-Grown Products Enter the Market

Our tissue-cultured plants officially hit the global market—offering unmatched consistency, biosecurity, and vigor. These products quickly became a preferred choice for aquascapers and retailers seeking reliable, high-quality aquatic plants.
