Description
Acmella repens creeping prostrate stems allow it to be used as a mid-ground or background plant. When these stems are in contact with the soil, they can root and grow. Floating stems sometimes produce roots that look very beautiful in an aquarium when grown in water. These stems are reddish or green. The leaf margins are toothed, giving the plant a more exotic appearance. The flowers appear only in dry locations. It grows bushier under intense lighting conditions. The rooted stem sections of Acmella repens can be propagated.
